Out with the old, In with the new

Where were you on April 9th, 2011?  I wasn't quite sure of the answer until the Roofing signs started appearing in people's yards on our street around Memorial Day.  That was the night of a HUGE storm including tornado watches and warnings and HAIL.  It was a Saturday night, we were at church at the time and remember hearing the thunder and the guest Pastor remarking, "That's God putting exclamation points on the message."  After we were dismissed, we couldn't leave the building because of a purpley-green color to the sky - Ummm being from Indiana, we know that color - it's BAD, very bad.  So we took the kids back to their Quest theatre and enjoyed a movie while we waited.

So back to the HAIL -  apparently HUGE hail on our street.  We were one of a dozen on our street to have our roof declared "substantially damaged" to warrant full replacement.  We made all the appropriate calls and got on schedule to have our roof repaired by Superior Construction & Remodeling LLC.  They were great and came highly recommended by the 10 other houses already done on our street.  They worked for 2 days in 100+ temperatures to install our brand new 35 year architectural roof !!  Now you know I get excited about home improvements, but this one was the BEST because it was absolutely FREE to us.  Makes us happy - (insert happy dance here).
