Our blue tailed lizard that makes his home under our cover for our sprinkler system - we've been visiting him almost EVERY day since we found him - he's getting really big!
Olivia had a great time at two friends' birthday party at Noah's Art.
Me & my kiddos!
Best friends walking together.
Olivia changing oil in Nascar car at Discovery Place kids

Strawberry picking
Joe & Olivia on our "adventure walk" on Sunday. Joe had taken us one some trails where he rides his mountain bike and usually sees all kinds of deer and other wildlife - but with a chatty 4 and 5 year old - all we saw was a hawk hovering above - no deer, no owls, not even a squirrel! The kids had fun trying to find "fossils" and came home with pockets full of rocks.
Olivia drawing with window markers - I've had these for a while, but just got the nerve up to let them use them - they worked well and came right off (even the marks that ended up on the painted walls & windowsill came off easily).
A trip to Krispy Kreme before we headed to the movies.
Spring Festival in Waxhaw - more face paint!
Mother's Day - breakfast in bed - I requested fruit because I know that we were heading to Biscuitville for breakfast.
Scavenger Hunt at the Spring Festival - done by a local church - had great bible stories and different "clues" to find at places like the Garden of Eden, The Burning Bush, The Desert - then they traded all their clues in for a prize.
Olivia is not afraid of anything especially this slimy snake she touched.
Well, I think this catches up on our whirlwind of a Spring !

glad to see you endorse the window markers. i've been hesitant, but you may have convinced me.
