The ocean, the sun, the sand, my wonderful husband and the most precious kids.
Who wouldn't love to sit in the sand and play all day?
It was the best way to spend Mother's Day!
Each time we drive the short 3 1/2 hour trip to beach, Joe and I remind each other that's exactly why we moved here - halfway between the beach and the mountains.
We love going to the beach in May while most kids are still in school. Shhh, Garrett played hookie for a day so we could enjoy a little time at the beach.
Boogie boards were a BIG hit this year. Garrett was squealing with excitement as he caught each wave. It was so fun to watch!
Olivia was not far behind - but she wanted to stand on the board and surf - so she sunk quickly.
On Mother's Day, we actually had rain at the beach - but we had spotted an indoor mini-golf place on the drive in and it was fun for their first putt-putt experience.
Thank you for a wonderful trip. Thank you Joe, Garrett and Olivia for making me smile and laugh all weekend long.
And Thank You Mom for giving me wonderful example of love that I can pass on to my kids!!
